Welcome to the 2026 outdoor mini-soccer program at Charleswood Youth Soccer Association.
Our mini soccer program is designed to introduce young players to the game in a fun, active and supportive environment. The emphasis of the season is on building physical literacy, foundational soccer skills, and a love of active play.
This season we are moving to a station-based model without permanent teams for ages 3 through 7. 3 to 5 year olds are mixed gender and 6 and 7 year olds are separated by gender
Teams will be fluid throughout the season. During the game portion of each session, coaches will divide the age group into small teams of 5-8 players by handing out pinnies and assigning players to a field, This allows us to create positive balanced game experiences every night regardless of who is present, Our focus remains on fun, fairness and development.
Players will be encouraged to partner or group up when it comes time to form teams which will help ensure they get to play with their friends.
Players will get a jersey with their choice of name and number.
Game nights: Twice per week (either Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays)

U3: 6:00-6:30 PM (choice of River West Park or Westgrove Schools)
U4: 6:00-6:45 PM (at Westgrove School)
U5: 6:00-7:00 PM (at River West Park School)
U6/7 Boys: 6:00-7:00 PM (at Westgrove School)
U6/7 Girls: 6:00-7:00 PM (at River West Park School)
U3 - birth year 2023, U4 birth year 2022, U5 birth year 2021, U6 birth year 2020, U7 birth year 2019
The season begins May 4 and continues until the CYSA Canada Soccer Grassroots Soccer Fest on Saturday, June 27.

Activity based sessions focused on physical literacy and basic movement skills such as running, stopping, balancing and coordination.
Uses station based learning designed to keep players engaged and moving.
30 minutes duration starting at 6:00.
