Spring/Summer Season 2026

9U Tadpole

Registrant must be born between 1/1/2017 and 12/31/2018. You will not be allowed to register a participant outside of the age range.

  • Tadpole Summer Ball Evaluations - May 11 (9U Tadpole)

    $25.00

    Summer ball is a great opportunity for players who are looking to keep building their skills in a more competitive environment, while continuing to focus on development, confidence, and game experience.

    We will be forming:

    • 8U, 2 teams (12 players each)
    • 9U, 2 teams (12 players each)

    The summer schedule is shaping up to be a great experience:

    • 8U will participate in 3 tournaments, all in the Lower Mainland
    • 9U will participate in 4 tournaments, including one travel tournament to Kamloops

    Summer ball is a big commitment, typically running 4 to 6 days per week, including practices, games, and tournaments. It’s a busy stretch, but it’s also a lot of fun and a very rewarding experience.

    Tryout Dates and Times

    Tryouts will take place over two days:

    • May 11th (Tuesday/Thursday players)
    • May 12th (Monday/Wednesday players)

    There will be three time slots available on both days:
    4:30 to 5:15
    5:30 to 6:15
    6:30 to 7:15

    Players will be assigned to one group and are expected to attend their scheduled time.

    Potential Callback

    There may be a callback session on Friday, May 15th. Further details will be shared with selected players if needed.

    Tryout Fee

    There is a $25 tryout fee, which helps cover the cost of external evaluators.

    Arrival Time

    Please have players arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in and warm-up.

Registrant must be born between 1/1/2015 and 12/31/2016. You will not be allowed to register a participant outside of the age range.

  • 11U Summer Ball Evaluations (11U Mosquito)

    Evaluation Dates & Times
    Evaluations will take place over two days:

    • Wednesday, May 20
    • Thursday, May 21

    There will be two time slots each day:

    • 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
    • 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

    Players will be assigned to one group and are expected to attend both days at their scheduled time. This schedule will be sent out shortly.

    We understand that schedules can be busy, so if you have a strong preference or conflict with either time slot, please reply to this email and we will do our best to accommodate. Otherwise, players will be assigned to a group.

    Potential Callback
    There may be a callback evaluation on Friday, May 22. Further details will be shared with selected players if needed.

    Location
    All evaluations will take place at Harris Road Park Fields #1 and #2.

    Evaluation Fee
    There is a $50 evaluation fee, which helps cover the cost of external evaluators, including T21 Performance, who will be running the sessions.

    Arrival Time
    Please have players arrive 15 minutes early each day to allow time for check-in and warm-up.

26U Jr Mens

Registrant must be born between 1/1/2003 and 12/31/2009.

    The Junior Men's baseball league gives young men ages 19 to 26 the opportunity to play competitive hi-level baseball vs. teams from all points of the lower mainland. Typically games are on Wednesday and Sunday.

    Anyone returning home after playing college or University ball in Canada or in the USA, are encouraged to join the RMMBA Junior program. 

    RMMBA Jr Men's team has made it to the Provincial FINALS twice in recent consecutive years!

Challenger

  • Challenger - Spring Season 2026 (Challenger)

    Challenger Baseball is a division of Baseball BC that provides an opportunity for children with cognitive and/or physical disabilities to enjoy the full benefits of participation in baseball. Challenger baseball in RMMBA is structured to support the diverse abilities of all participants.

    Playing in the Challenger division gives players and their families the opportunity to:

    • enjoy the thrill of playing baseball
    • be part of a team
    • develop physical literacy and social skills
    • build self esteem and confidence
    • be physically active while having fun
    • make new friends
    • meet other children and families in their communities


    Basic concepts of Challenger Baseball:

    1. Allows children with cognitive or physical disabilities to participate in a league, on a team, in a uniform
    2. For youth age 4-18 years old to participate in a fun and safe environment that adapts to their diverse skills and abilities
    3. Buddies participate with each challenger player to assist in providing a safe, enjoyable experience
    4. Everyone bats each inning, no balls or strikes, no outs, everyone is safe at each base
    5. Hit off the tee or coach pitch
    6. Games are 60-75 minutes max.
    7. The program is offered at no cost to participants.
