Volunteer Info Session (Youth - Canoe Kids/Learn to Paddle/Recreational Programs)
$0.00
Youths - Are you looking to add High School Volunteer Credit Hours?
Consider joining the Prince George Canoe & Kayak Club as a Volunteer. Sign up to this Info Session and we will arrange a time to talk more about the opportunities for you with our club.
As a volunteer you will receive training, support, and plenty of time to practice your paddling.
In your first summer with our club, you will be trained as a Beach Supervisor and receive Basic Paddling Skill Training.
In your second summer with our club, if you are interested in working directly with your paddlers, you can be trained as a Community Coach (online course and in person evaluation) with NCCP coach.ca
If you are interested in helping our paddlers train and attend the BC Summer Games, you can be trained in the ELCC program (Entry-Level Coaching Course) with NCCP coach.ca
There are often grants available to support our volunteers in paying for their training programs with a minimum # of volunteer hours each year.
