U8-U12 Crabbe March Break Camp (U10)

The Crabbe March Break camp gives our MSRC athletes a chance to ski more varied terrain than is available at Ski Martock. This is always one of our most popular events for our young racers!
The focus of this event is FUN and team building on and off the snow. Activities encourage athletes to have a healthy sense of competition and get to know teammates and coaches they otherwise might not have the opportunity to train with. There will be no formal gate training.
The on snow session meeting spot will be right outside the Crabbe lodge and the evening off snow activities will happen at the Chateau Fredericton (Different hotel than last year). It is important that athletes arrive on time for all activities involved in the camp. The meeting spot for the on snow session will be right outside the Crabbe mountain lodge. For safety reasons we ask that athletes bring and wear their Martock program bib or team jacket they would wear to regular training sessions.
A WhatsApp group chat will be used for all communication surrounding the camp and is now available to join in the MSRC community. The direct join link will be emailed to registered participants after registration closes.
We ask that you communicate in the camp chat if you are going to be late and that you stay and wait outside the lodge with your athlete until a coach comes and picks them up. The lodge is not at the base of the hill so asking the coach to meet you at the lodge can get tricky- please be flexible and plan accordingly.

Off-snow activities will begin at 7:00pm at the Chateau Fredricton. The meeting spot will be communicated via WhatsApp.
Friday, March 13th and Saturday March 14:
- 8:30 a.m. Athletes arrive and purchase lift tickets (NOMAD Rates apply if you show your season pass)
- 8:45 a.m Athletes gather outside for morning meeting
- 9:00 a.m. Training Begins
- 11:30 a.m. Athlete pick up for lunch
- 11:30-12:15 Lunch
- 12:15 p.m Meet coaches outside the lodge for afternoon training
- 2:00 p.m End of training
- 7:00 p.m Meet Coaches for special athlete activity*
- 7:45 p.m Parent pick up from activity*
*please stay close by- they are estimated to take around 45 minutes but could change by +/- 15 mins
Sunday, March 15th:
- 8:30 a.m. Athletes arrive and purchase lift tickets (NOMAD Rates apply if you show your season pass)
- 8:45 a.m Athletes gather outside for morning meeting
- 9:00 a.m. Training Begins

Note: We realize that many of you may be heading to other ski hills or trips directly from Crabbe and may want to hit the road earlier, if this is the case you can communicate and coordinate with coaches.
Participants
All Athletes born from 2020-2014 are eligible for this camp.
Required Equipment:
- Skis and helmet
- Martock Program Bib/Jacket
- Parent/Guardian phone number on your athletes person (i.e written on Martock season pass)
- Suitable ski wear for weather
- Extra mittens/gloves
- Hand/foot warmers
- Snacks in their pocket
