U7/FUNdamentals is a practice only team that is on the ice once a week in Huntsville.  The girls will learn hockey skills as their love of hockey grows!

We will try to organize one or two exhibition games in the new year if families are interested.

U7/Fundamentals (First Shift Extension) (FUNdamentals-Junior)

This package is for those that participated in 1st Shift during 2025 and would like to continue the season with U7 Fundamentals.

The group runs on Sundays at noon on the Don. You can see the schedule here: Master Calendar Under DIVISIONS select "New to Hockey" Under TEAM select "FUNdamentals" That will show you all the dates and times. If there are any date or time changes in the future they will be updated here as well.

U7 2025/2026 Team (Under 7 (U7))

How the season will look is yet to be determined. We are working with SMGHL associations to set up games. We anticipate approximately 8-10 games.

The Team will practice once a week with the Fundamental group.

This package is for those who are ages 5 or 6 (as of December 31, 2025) that participated in 1st Shift during 2025 and would like to continue the season with the U7 Team.

U11 House League has a minimum of 20 engaging practices on shared ice designed to enhance player development (approx 1 weekly) and 18 action-packed games (9 home, 9 away) with the SMGHL.

The team travels to Barrie, Orillia, Collingwood and Midland.

They will participate in our Home Tournament January 9-11, 2026 free of cost. Each family is required to provide 1 silent auction item for the Home Tournament.

The team will also have to option to participate in other tournaments of their choice. All costs associated with the other Tournaments chosen is extra to be paid by each family.

Each family will be required to volunteer 6 hours to run a game clock or fill in a game sheet. This can be done during 1 of your 9 home games and during our Home Tournament. If you are unable to volunteer there is a Volunteer Buy-Out Package you can purchase.

Each family is asked to find a $50 sponsor.
