Welcome to Mini Soccer registration at Sturgeon Heights Community Centre!
Our Mini Soccer Program is designed for children under 8 years of age and is split into 3 divisions, U3/4, U5/6 and U7/8. We support the Canada Soccer's Pathway and Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) program. The LTPD is designed to give players an optimal soccer experience at every stage by putting their needs first and encouraging lifelong participation.
Stage 1 - Active Start is designed for children 3 - 5 years old. Gives the youngest players the opportunity to develop basic movement skills like running, jumping, landing, kicking, throwing and catching, all in a fun setting, built around informal play and positive reinforcement.
Stage 2 - Fundamentals is designed for children 6 - 8 years old. Allows children to develop their ABC’S - Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed - and learn the basics of the game while emphasizing on fun, cooperation, and maximum time on the ball.

You will receive a confirmation e-mail following your submission, along with a receipt when you complete your payment online. Failure to complete your registration with payment in full will void your registration. Registering your child in the wrong age category will also void your registration. The age categories and registration prices are listed below:
U3/4 (born in 2021/2020 ) - $55.00 - Play Wednesdays at 6:15 - 7:15 pm
U5/6 (born in 2019/2018 ) - $75.00 - Play Tuesday/Thursday at 6:30 - 7:40 pm
U7/8 (born in 2017/2016 ) - $95.00 - Play Monday/Wednesday at 6:30 - 7:50 pm
The season runs from May 2024 - June 2024.
Regular Online registration will be open from February 26th 2024 to April 14th, 2024.
All registrations received after April 15th 2024 are considered late and will be subject to a $10 late fee.

Registrant must be born between 1/1/2020 and 4/30/2021.
U4 Mini/Micro
Registrant must be born between 1/1/2020 and 12/30/2020. You will not be allowed to register a participant outside of the age range.
U5 Mini/Micro
Registrant must be born between 1/1/2019 and 12/31/2019. You will not be allowed to register a participant outside of the age range.
U6 Mini/Micro
Registrant must be born between 1/1/2018 and 12/31/2018. You will not be allowed to register a participant outside of the age range.
U7 Mini/Micro
Registrant must be born between 1/1/2017 and 12/31/2017. You will not be allowed to register a participant outside of the age range.
U8 Mini/Micro
Registrant must be born between 1/1/2016 and 12/31/2016. You will not be allowed to register a participant outside of the age range.
