    Chilliwack Minor Hockey is proud to announce that for the fifth consecutive season we will be offering our own goaltender specific training program during the 2025-26 hockey season. This program will be offered to CMHA goaltenders registered in the U11-U18 age groups. This program is an excellent way for our goaltenders to stay current with their games and personal growth, while also developing in a team setting throughout the year. CMHA head goaltending instructor Eric Williams (Assertion Goaltending) has prepared a detailed & progression-based plan built specifically for the improvement of our goaltenders within Chilliwack Minor Hockey. 

     
    This year we will continue running the program on Tuesday evenings to assist with scheduling conflicts. We feel that this will go a long way to ensuring our goalie membership is best able to take advantage of this program offering.
     
    CMHA Goaltender Training Program consists of:
     
    - 1 day per week designated for on-ice goaltender specific training with a 1:4 coach to goaltender ratio. 
    - 3 sessions per month for goaltenders registered in the program. 
    - Monthly zoom session for goaltenders (and their families) with coaches like Jeff Malcolm (Hartford Wolfpack- AHL) and Mackenzie Skapski (Calgary Wranglers- AHL) as well as other guest speakers. 
     
    18-week program- 18 (60 minute) ice sessions, 6 monthly zoom sessions.
