Our house league will see 2 league games played each week per team. Player and team standings will not be kept until the U11 age. Teams will be provided with a numbered jersey that they will keep at the end of the season. Shin guards and cleats are mandatory.
We require at minimum 1 team leader and 1 assistant team leader per team. Team roster sizes will be no more than 8-9 players and will play 5v5 format including a keeper. Parents registering their children who are available and willing to sign up to coach/assist coach will be placed on teams first.
New this season we will be using TeamLinkt for coaches to communicate with their teams, as well as to provide other important information.
***Should MJSA have more teams than coaches MJSA reserves the right to and will cancel/refund registrations to align with coach numbers***
Games/practices are tentatively set for Tuesdays at 6pm-6:55pm and Thursdays at 6pm-6:55pm from January 9 - March 28, 2024. The ideal format each day will be the first 10-15 minutes practicing skills with their coach followed by a 5 minute water break and then a 30-minute game (2-15 minute halves and a 5 minute break in between halves). Coaches will ref the game with only handballs and out-of-bounds being called. Parent or assistant coach will help with throw-ins and retrieving out-of-bounds balls.
MJSA reserves the right to add games should there be more teams and coaches registered. These days and times will not be set until closer to January.

$145.00
The program will run January 12 - March 29, 2024. Just 4 Kicks will take place Fridays at either 4-4:55pm or 5-5:55pm unless otherwise specified.
This program is geared toward players who lack soccer skills but still like to run around and get touches on the ball, have barriers preventing them from taking part in gameplay, and/or are looking for a less structured environment.
This program is suitable for first-time players who do not have any soccer knowledge, players who prefer not to play a full soccer game but enjoy various aspects such as shooting, dribbling, foot skills, etc.
We require a minimum of 1 volunteer helper for every 8 children on the field each day. They will be responsible for guiding the players through the basic skills each practice as well as setting up each station and then supervising their group for the practice. Daily plans can be provided to the individuals willing to help out. Volunteers do not have to commit to every practice, we are happy to have different individuals helping out.
This program will be cancelled if there are fewer than 8 registrations.
