WRCC Pond Scum PACCC - Out of Province Paddlers

This registration is intended for those paddlers from out of province who will be registering with the WRCC Pond Scum PACCC Team.

WRCC membership for athletes competing with the Pond Scum team at the Pan American Club Crew Championships. This is a basic membership and does not include access to club boats or coaching.

There is a small fee to cover the Provincial Sport Governing body fee (Canoe Kayak Saskatchewan).

Masters Comp Monthly - Any 12 Continuous Sessions

The Master's monthly membership buys registration for any 12 continuous paddling sessions between May 11 and September 18.  There is no provision for random gerry picking of sessions over the summer.  Sessions are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 6:30 to 8:00 PM, excluding Holidays (July 3, 10 and 31) and Fridays prior three regattas ( in the event it is not possible to get on the water because of activity), the Wascana Classic (July3), Prairie Division Finals, (July 31)  and Regina Rowing Club Regatta (July 10). Expect the Club to be closed during Nationals/CanMas (August 24 to 30).

May 18 -  Sept 18, excluding holiday Mondays, and Nationals (Aug 24-29)

Monday Wednesdays and Fridays, 6.30 - 8.00 pm.  (Fall hours depend on daylight)

Sessions are coached. If it is not possible to go on the water there will be a dryland session. The coach will be in a safety boat on the water during practices with few exceptions. If the coach is away there will be a substitute coach or rescheduled session. Includes boat and water access.

July 15 to Aug 23 Dragon Boat

July 15 - August 23 (6 week program)

This program is for dragon boaters who are not paddling at the WRCC as part of a team.

All sessions are coached.

Twice a week practices in the evening. Start with an introduction to dragon boating on land, along with good technique and set up.

Leading into timing, effective strokes, and starts. In the event of a particular day where there are a lack of participants, the outriggers may be used to demonstrate technique.

Offered to participants already on a dragon boat team. Training times is scheduled with the team;

War Canoe/ C4/ SUPs - Summer

This membership entitles the paddler to paddle with a war canoe crew, C4s with other crew members or stand up paddle boards.  

SUPs are available during club hours. 

War Canoe Only is coached.
