Program Highlights:

Small group lessons (6:1 student-to-coach ratio) for focused instruction
Unique blend of swim training and water polo basics to boost confidence, coordination, and overall aquatic skills

Registration Instructions:

  1. Click "Register Now" for your preferred group
  2. Log in or create a RAMP account
  3. Add your child under "My Family Members"
  4. Start registration:
  5. Choose your child’s name at the top of the page
  6. Select season: 2025-2026
  7. Select division: "Make a Splash for Athletes and Coaches"
  8. Select your desired class from the list (Scroll down and click the yellow "Continue" button to add the class to your basket)
  9. Proceed to checkout
  10. Complete payment and required forms (all fields must be filled, even if not swim-specific)
    Please note there will be two checkouts. First is just membership, second is the class payment. 

Confirmation:
You'll receive a confirmation email from Surrey Water Polo after registration.

Membership fee is mandatory and non refundable.

    Exclusion of October 13th, 29 lessons
    Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 4-5 PM

    Bronze Level (Beginner)
    No prior swimming experience required. The only requirement is that your child feels comfortable putting their head underwater. If they are hesitant, we recommend a few private lessons at our Burnaby or Abbotsford locations before joining. This level is suitable for swimmers at Red Cross Levels SK 1-4.

    What to Expect

    Build confidence and foundational swimming skills in a small group setting
    Enjoy individual attention in a supportive, fun environment
    Learn freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and basic water polo skills (eggbeater kick and ball handling)
    Lessons are run using unique ISWIM methodology.

    $1,073+tax+ Membership Fee ($31)

    Payment Plan (4 Installments)

    Upon Registration: $268.25 + membership
    September 20th: $268.25
    October 20th: $268.25
    November 20th: $268.25

    Cancellation & Make-Up Policy

    • No cancellations or refunds, including before the session begins. In cases of serious illness or bereavement, credits may be considered at our discretion.

    Two make-up classes allowed per season due to health reasons, based on availability, might be scheduled in another location. Must be scheduled within one week after missing the class.

    Silver/gold level:
    Swimmers must be able to swim 20 meters without floatation aids using dolphin kick, breaststroke, and flutter kick. This level is suitable for those who have mastered fundamental swimming skills and are ready to refine technique, build endurance, and advance into competitive swimming or water polo skills.

    What to Expect:
    Improve stroke technique, endurance, and speed.
    Learn advanced freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly mechanics.
    Develop deep-water confidence, refine turns, dives, and underwater techniques - introduced based on the group level 
    Gain experience in water polo skills, including eggbeater kick and ball handling.
    Small group setting ensures personal attention and skill progression.
