Membership at South Niagara Canoe Club
- November 1st through October 31st (this is a transistion year from membership year May 1 - April 30th)
- For 2026, all memberships that expire on April 30th 2026 has been extended to October 31st 2026.
- no prorating
- no hst
- membership entitles the member to all privileges according to ONCA
- voting rights at member meetings
- input to club policies and by-laws
- electable to the Board of Directors
- appointable to Committees
- access to information
- invitation to club social activities
The Value of Membership
While programs are open to the public, your membership is the lifeblood of SNCC. It provides financial stability needed for administrative overhead and ensures we remain a member-governed institution. Membership allows you to have a direct say in the club’s future and maintain the high standards of our paddling community.
Membership prior to 2026
- membership fees were higher and taxable because they were operational revenues to be used for operational expenses and gave the member access to programs and discounts.
- membership ran from May 1 through April 30th.
Volunteering
Members and participants alike are asked to commit to volunteer hours as per the SNCC Volunteer Policy.
