  • Dragon Boat - Masters Add-On

    $100.00

Cheema invites our Masters paddlers - regardless of experience -  to experience dragonboating. Enjoy an additional paddling experience in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Our 40-foot-long dragonboats can accommodate 20 paddlers sitting two to a bench, with a steersperson in the back directing/coaching the session.

Dragonboating from its sitting position makes it easier to execute a basic paddling stroke and requires less balance than war canoeing. Beginners learn the stroke in a few sessions and acquire paddling-specific fitness within a couple of weeks. The program provides for a great social environment before, during, and after practice! Fitness and festival options exist depending on your interests.
