CKBC Provincial Championships Registration Page

Specific details - including race events, athlete registration deadlines, cost, etc - for sprint and SUP events can be found at the following:

 ALL sprint event athletes can sign up for ICF SUP races for no additional cost - no additional registration in RAMP will be required.

U14 and Under, Masters and Para

Registration Deadlines

Early Bird Deadline: Thursday, July 3rd, 2025 - 10:59pm PST 

Regular Registration Deadline: July 10th, 2025 - 10:59pm PST 

** Late registrations fee of $30 charged after the regular registration deadline ** 

** NO late registration after July 17th, 2025 ** 

 

SPRINT EVENTS FOR U10-14, MASTERS AND PARA

  • U10 - U14: K1/C1 200m, 500m, 3000m 

                             K2/C2 200m, 500m, 3000m

                             K4/C4 200m, 500m

  • Masters/Para: based on Can National Championship race card + additional disciplines to provide same number of races as BC CUP #1 earlier this year

 

SPRINT CATEGORIES

  • U10: Born in the year 2015 or later
  • U12: Born in the year 2013
  • U14: Born in the year 2011
  • Masters: Athletes that are 25+ (see note above about age restrictions for Canadian National Championships and CanMas)
  • Paracanoe: Athletes meeting ICF Paracanoe requirement

 

RACE LIMIT

  • 8 sprint events per athlete
  • C15,  ICF SUP races and OPEN 3km race DO NOT count towards the limit

U16 and Up

Nationals qualifying events reflect the Canoe Kayak Canada events for the 2025 Sprint National Championships. The race card and race events/categories for the 2025 Canadian Championship can be found under the following link:

RACE LIMIT

  • 8 sprint events per athlete.

SUP

 AGE AND BOARD CATEGORIES: 

  • Mix M+F U14, U18, Open HARD shell boards
  • Mix M+F U14, U18, Open INFLATABLE boards

DISTANCES: 

  • 100m STRAIGHT sprint: All age and boards categories
  • 500m with 4 turns: All age and boards categories
  • 3km long distance: All age and boards categories

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE (subject to change)

  • Sunday - 10.00am: 100m Sprints
  • Sunday - 1.00pm: 500m with 4 turns
  • Sunday - 3.30pm: 3km long distance

COST:

$50

  • Breakdown of $50 racing fee: $30 racing fee; $20 membership insurance.

  • C15 fee allows the participant to also attend 1 Sprint race based on individual choice & ICF SUP races and Open 3km race. This fee can not be used towards any other Canadian Nationals Selection discipline, other than C15.
