We accept new athletes throughout the season.
Program fees will be pro-rated based on the registration date.
An invoice confirming your program fees will be emailed within 7 days of the registration date.

Water Fun I
COED program targeted at children born between 2018 and 2020 inclusively who are not yet strong enough swimmers to join the Swim and Play programs. Participants will learn basic water skills, providing a jump-start to the aquatic environment which will form a strong basis for the development of more advanced swimming skills. Game play will be used to build their confidence in the water. A parent may be asked to accompany their child in the water for safety reasons. This program runs from September to May.
Minimum Requirement: None
Water Fun II
In this COED program targeting boys and girls born between 2018 and 2020 inclusively, participants will develop basic swimming skills. Building on the skills acquired in Water Fun I, this is where participants will first experience the sport of water polo in a fun environment. This program runs from September to May.
Minimum Requirement: the child must be comfortable in the shallow end without a parent and without a flotation device.
For children born in 2015-2019 who still need to refine their front crawl and backstroke skills, learn basic breaststroke, or learn basic eggbeater. A good fit for athletes who completed Swim Kids Levels 3 or 4, or the new city of Ottawa Red or Magenta levels.
Minimum requirements:
- Swim 25m (pool length) front crawl (no breath control required)
- Swim 25m (pool length) backstroke
- Swim 25m (pool length) flutter kick with a board (with breath control)
- Swim 25m (pool length) back flutter kick without a board (streamline)
This program comes in 2 flavours:
- Regular S&P I (preferred) - includes 2 weekly practices + 1 Game Night
- S&P I Light (special permission required) - includes 1 weekly practice + 1 Game Night (send request for special permission to info@titanswaterpolo.ca).
- Game Night is included in all S&P I registrations and is on Sundays at the Sportsplex 25m pool from 6pm to 7:30pm
Program Fees:
- Regular S&P I - $1,170
- S&P I Light - $1000
- The program fees that correspond to the option you selected will be reflected in the invoice you will receive within 7 days of your registration
How to Register: Select one practice from the options below. You will then be asked to log into your RAMP account. Once in RAMP, you will be able to select 2 practice options (for Regular S&P I). Please note that an athlete can only select one of the weekly Richcraft practices (due to local high demand for this facility). The Game Night is automatically included.
For children born in 2015-2018 who are ready to refine their breaststroke and eggbeater, and build up their endurance. A good fit for athletes who completed Swim Kids Levels 5, 6 or 7, or the new city of Ottawa Purple, Navy or Aqua levels.
Minimum requirements:
- Swim 50m (2 pool lengths) front crawl with breath control
- Swim 50m (2 pool lengths) backstroke
- Swim 25m basic breaststroke
- Basic knowledge of eggbeater
This program comes in 2 flavours:
- Regular S&P II (preferred) - includes 2 weekly practices + 1 Game Night
- S&P II Light (special permission required) - includes 1 weekly practice + 1 Game Night (send request for special permission to info@titanswaterpolo.ca).
- Game Night is included in all S&P II registrations and is on Sundays at the Sportsplex 50m pool (Shallow End) from 6pm to 7:30pm

For children born in 2014-2017, swimming skills are refined, endurance is improved, and basic water polo skills are taught in a non-intimidating environment. This Program, held in the deep end of the pool, develops the required technical skills and endurance to prepare its participants to move up to our learn-to-compete program, the Academy. This program is a good fit for athletes who have completed Swim Kids Level 8 or higher, or the new city of Ottawa Seafoam, Green, Lime level or higher. Stronger athletes may be given the opportunity to compete in 12U or 10U tournaments.
Minimum requirements:
- Comfortable swimming in the deep end for an extended period
- Swim 100m front crawl with breath control
- Swim 100m backstroke
- Swim 100m breaststroke with good whip kick
- Treading water for 30 seconds (eggbeater preferable)
This program comes in 2 flavours:
- Regular ILWP (preferred) - includes 2 weekly practices + 1 Game Night
- ILWP Light (special permission required) - includes 1 weekly practice + 1 Game Night (send request for special permission to info@titanswaterpolo.ca)
- Game Night is included in all ILWP registrations and is on Sundays at the Sportsplex 50m pool (Deep End) from 6pm to 7:30pm
Full season Fees:
- Regular ILWP - $1,350
- ILWP Light - $1,070

This COED program introduces children born 2012-2016 to competitive water polo. Emphasis is placed on the development of fundamental water polo skills, tactics and fitness required to succeed in competitive water polo, as well as advanced swimming skills. Team building, discipline, personal growth and elementary tactics are key learning objectives of this program. Athletes should be very good deep-water swimmers and be ready to train in a more structured environment. An evaluation of the player’s current abilities and overall potential will first be performed by the team Coach to ensure that the player is ready to participate in the Academy. Academy players will have the opportunity to participate in invitational and Provincial tournaments and championships. This program includes three (Academy B) or four (Academy A) practices per week. This program also offers Mini National Capital Water Polo League (Mini-NCWPL) games on Sunday nights at the Nepean Sportsplex.
This program comes in 2 flavours, along with a special add-on practice option:
- Academy B - includes 2 weekly practices + 1 Game Night, targeting less experienced athletes
- Academy A - includes 3 weekly practices + 1 Game Night, targeting more experienced athletes
- Game Night is on Sundays in the Sportsplex Deep End from 7:30pm to 9:30pm
- Academy Foundations (no cost) - 1 weekly practice (by invitation only), targeted at strong ILWP athletes and new Academy B athletes

At this level, boys and girls train separately. This program is for athletes born between 2008 and 2012 who want to train for advanced competitive water polo. Our 16U and 18U athletes train to compete in the National Championship League (NCL). This program includes four weekly practices, one optional high-performance practice (at no additional cost), and several National Capital Water Polo League (NCWPL) games.
