What to Bring to Summer Camp: 

• Lunch, Snacks, Towel, Sandals/Flip-flops, Water Bottle, Swimsuit, Runners, Sunscreen, Hat, change of clothes according to weather.

Kamloops Canoe & Kayak Club (KCKC) proudly presents the Youth Racing Summer Camp, designed for youth athletes who previously participated in Canoe Kids Summer Camp and already have basic paddling skills. This program provides a structured and fun pathway for athletes to progress to the next stage of their canoe/kayak development.

The program focuses on skill development, confidence on the water, and introducing fundamental training habits in a positive and supportive environment. Athletes will participate in on-water paddling sessions, fun land-based games, and basic dryland training activities appropriate for their age and development level.

Youth Racing Summer Camps is Designed to:

• Be fun!
• Help children develop water safety awareness and skills.
• Help children develop confidence on the water.
• Provide children an opportunity to paddle and socialize with their friends in a team environment.
• Build overall motor skills.
