We welcome all paddlers from ages 8-14 (2012-2018 exceptions made on an individual basis), regardless of skill level or experience. Beginners receive coaching and supervision as we introduce them to single, double, four-person racing canoes and kayaks, fifteen-person racing canoes (C15's) and Dragon boats. Paddlers have the opportunity to participate in local regattas tailored to their age and skill level while making new friends, connecting with nature, and learning a new sport.

Experienced paddlers can improve their skills and compete locally, regionally, and even nationally, but the focus for everyone is always on fun. Race fees are extra. We pride ourselves on maintaining a 5:1 camper-to-staff ratio, ensuring that each child receives personalized attention and guidance. SNCC provides boats, paddles and personal floatation devices PFD/Life jackets. Our instructors and volunteers will also provide fun and safe training!
