Summer Camp pricing includes CKBC/KCKC one-week recreational membership, one-week recreational insurance and all paddling equipment.
What to Bring to Summer Camp:
- Lunch, Snacks, Towel, Sandals/Flip-flops, Water Bottle, Swimsuit, Runners, Sunscreen, Hat, change of clothes according to weather.
KCKC Canoe Kids SUMMER CAMPS teaches the paddling fundamentals that serve participants for the rest of their lives. In addition to canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and other sports, participants will benefit from the Shumway Lake experience by sharing a connection with the wildlife living in and around the area; including herons, deer, beavers, and eagles. Our summer camp staff promotes teamwork and friendships that help create amazing summer memories for our campers.
The Canoe Kids Program is Designed to:
- Be fun!
- Help children develop water safety awareness and skills.
- Help children develop confidence on the water.
- Provide children an opportunity to paddle and socialize with their friends in a team environment.
- Build overall motor skills.

Program: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pick-up/Sign-Out: 3:00 PM - 3:15 PM
