Non-Resident Tryout Registration
- AA 15 and U18 AA... residents who live closer to MJ than they do to any other AA center can try out. They do not need a release from their home center prior to tryouts, that would be obtained after they make your team. (Caronport, Mortlach, Lumsden, and Chamberlain are examples but not limited to)
- If Moose Jaw is NOT their closest AA center...IE. a U18 AA player from Morse.. would first need a "AA" release from Swift Current before stepping on the ice in MJ for tryouts as Swift Current is closer to his residence.
In all cases, the incoming player's parent/guardian must contact the office prior to any form of registration or participation in tryouts to ensure that the above requirements have been met. The office will ask for proof of residence in order to verify eligibility.
