2023 Minden Hills Whitewater National Championships - Camping

Whitewater Ontario and the Minden Whitewater Preserve (MWP) are proud to support the development of Whitewater Paddling in Canada by providing economical accommodation to athletes, coaches, parents and volunteers during the 2023 Canadian Nationals Whitewater Championships and Minden Hills Open Week, August 19-26.

Everyone who is competing, volunteering or coaching and plans to stay at the MWP must complete, or be named on, a registration and check in with MWP staff on arrival. Regular camping rates apply to those not involved in the event.

All adults will be charged at the Whitewater Ontario Member rate of  $13 + HST ($14.69). This is a savings of $10.00 + HST ($11.23)/person/night per night for non-members.

Anyone 17 years or under will be able to stay for no charge as long as they are accompanied by an adult or are part of a group supervised by a registered adult.

Volunteers who come to Minden expressly to volunteer their time will be able to camp for at no charge while they are volunteering, including the night before and the night after. If you plan to extend your stay or arrive early, we request that you register and pay for those nights.

Note: “Volunteering” means appearing on the schedule created by the Volunteer Coordinator. It does not include coaches, parent volunteers or other supervisors on teams or delegations.
