For Indoor Soccer - Players in the U4 (born in 2020) - U5 (born in 2019) - U6 (born in 2018) - U7 (born in 2017) - U8 (born in 2016)

 

Fees

The fees for this season will be as follows:

U4-U8             $350.00 plus a MSA fee of $16.00.  If you haven’t paid the $16.00 MSA fee for this year yet, you will be do that first, then proceed through the rest of the registration.

 

Season Overview

Days: Saturdays

Location: Gateway Recreation Centre

Season: End of September to Middle of March (two week break at Christmas)

Team Composition: Co-ed for U4, U5, U6 and Male and Female teams U7 and U8

 
Equipment required by player

Shin guards and running shoes are required. Jerseys will be provided.

Coaches Needed

The Recreational Soccer Program relies on volunteer coaches to provide the opportunity for your child to participate in the program. Without these coaches, there is no program. Not only will you be contributing to your child's development, but you will also be supporting the community too. Be part of this rewarding experience! If you are willing to volunteer to coach, please complete the appropriate section on your child's registration with the necessary information.

To ensure the safety of all participants and provide a meaningful and enjoyable experience as well as comply with Canada Soccer's SQS program, coaches must be willing to complete the following, for which all fees will be reimbursed to the coach upon successful completion:

• A Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector. Provided by WPS or RCMP only. (Completed within the past 36 months)
• A Child Abuse Registry Check (Completed within the past 36 months)
• Complete the Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders course. (Expires every 5 years)
• The appropriate coaching certification for the age/stage they are coaching.

Note: Criminal Record Checks and Child Abuse Registry Checks must be submitted before the start of the season. All coaching certification requirements except the on-field portion must be completed before the season.
