OSBA Refund Policy

The Ottawa South Basketball Association (OSBA) is committed to delivering high-quality programming while managing the administrative, facility, and staffing commitments required to operate effectively. This policy provides clear, consistent guidelines for all registration refunds.

General Refund Terms

• All approved refunds are subject to:
  • A minimum $25 administrative fee (unless otherwise specified)
  • A 2.45% merchant processing fee, deducted from the original payment
• All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to the OSBA General Manager
• Approved refunds will be processed within 30 days

Non-Refundable Fees & Programs

The following are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances:

• Tryout fees
• All add-on sessions

All Spring/Summer programming—including Gym Jam, Girls Academy, and OSBA partnership programs—is strictly non-refundable.

Small Ball (U7)

Full Season Registration which runs through Fall/Winter - Refunds applicable to second half of season only (Winter)

• On or before December 31
  Refund half of joining fee for the winter portion - minus a $50 administrative fee and 2.45% processing fee
• On or after January 1 
  No refunds

U10 Development

• On or before October 14
  Refund minus $50 administrative fee and 2.45% processing fee
• On or after October 15 
  No refunds

House League 

• On or before September 20
  Refund minus a $50 administrative fee and 2.45% processing fee
• On or after September 21 but on or before October 16
  Refund minus a $100 administrative fee and 2.45% processing fee
• On or after October 17
  No refunds

Competitive Programs

• Tryout fees are non-refundable
• Once a player accepts a roster spot and submits registration payment, fees are non-refundable

Equipment & Uniforms

• House league and development program fees include equipment and uniforms and are non-refundable
• Competitive players purchase uniforms directly from Accent Logos; these purchases are non-refundable

Injury & Medical Consideration

• Requests must be submitted in writing with a doctor’s note
• Approved cases may receive a prorated refund, at the discretion of the OSBA

Program Changes

• If OSBA cancels or significantly alters a program preventing participation, a refund or credit may be considered
