WITHDRAWAL-REFUND POLICY: Withdrawal from Spring Box Lacrosse Program Purpose:
To identify all conditions regarding refunding of monies to players and families who withdraw from Hornets Lacrosse Association programs. This policy establishes clear guidelines for withdrawal procedures, refund calculations, and special circumstances to ensure fair treatmen of all members while protecting the Association’s operational requirements.
The process of evaluations, team formation, and program delivery incurs significant volunteering efforts ad substantial operating costs. Once these processes begin, the Association commits resources that cannot be recovered.
MINOR BOX PLAYERS (HORNETS)
$125 withdrawal fee will be assessed on any player withdrawing from the program between mid-December to February 14.
$175.00 withdrawal fee will be assessed on any player withdrawing from the program from February 15 to March 15.
$225.00 withdrawal fee will be assessed on any player withdrawing from the program from March 15 to April 1
NO REFUND will be provided to any player withdrawing from the program after April 1, except in the event of an injury (please see below)
WITHDRAWAL-REFUND FROM HORNET CAMPS AND "A" TRYOUTS: There is no refund from any of the Hornet camps and the "A" Tryouts (U13-U17)
NOTE: ALL FEES MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO ANY PLAYER BEING ALLOWED AT NEW PLAYER CAMPS, TRYOUTS OR EVALUATIONS. IF FEES ARE NOT PAID, THEN THE PLAYER WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PARTICIPATE UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE REGISTRATION FEES ARE PAID IN FULL. IF A MEMBER HAS CHOSEN A PAYMENT PLAN FOR THE REGISTRATION FEES, THEN THEY ARE ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND FLOOR TIMES. AT ANY TIME WHEREIN THERE IS A NSF PAYMENT EITHER BY WAY OF CHEQUE, CREDIT CARD OR OTHER PAYMENT METHOD, THE PLAYER WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND ANY FURTHER FLOOR TIMES UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE FEES ARE PAID IN FULL.
Injury withdrawals received are subject to a deduction of /HORNET/ALA/CDLA costs incurred for the registered player. Please contact registrar@hornetslacrosse.com for further information. After evaluations have concluded a lack of interest or change of sport will not be grounds for a refund.
