Softball Association of Sylvan Lake Registration Refund Policy
We understand that circumstances may change after registration for softball season, and we strive to be fair and transparent in our refund process. While at the same time underscore the need for the commitment to the game and particular to team mates once the season has begun. In order to withdrawal a player from the program the parent/guardian of the player must submit a letter to Softball Association of Sylvan Lake ( hereafter referred to as SASL) stating the reason for the request at general.inquiries.sasl@gmail.com
SASL will only consider a request to withdrawal a player from the program for the following reason:

- The new residence of the player must be outside of the registration boundary
- Medical reasons and they must be accompanied by a doctor’s certificate or letter

- Requests for player withdrawal received prior to team formation, will be eligible for full reimbursement of paid fees.
- Requests for player withdrawal received after team formation but still prior to the season ( March 15th)are eligible for a refund of 50% of the paid registration fees.
- Requests for player withdrawal received after the start of the season ( MArch15th)are not eligible for any refund, UNLESS there are extenuating circumstances which the SASL Board members will review and determine if a refund is eligible on a pro-rated basis.
- Request for player withdrawal prior to the start of any clinic or camps are eligible for full reimbursement
- No reimbursements will be granted once the camp or clinic has commenced (Any extenuating circumstances which the SASL Board members will review and determine if a refund can be granted)
