Okotoks Raiders Lacrosse Association

Refund Policy

Okotoks Raiders Lacrosse Association Withdrawal/Refund Policy for Season

All players are required to pay a non-refundable deposit at time of registration - this fee is dependent on division and costs associated at that level.

The following guidelines are in place for players/families who are requesting to withdrawal or seeking a refund from a Okotoks Raiders Lacrosse Association season or program:

The process of performing player evaluations, determining team levels and number of players, requires significant volunteering effort and substantial operating costs. In the event that withdrawal/refund from a program is necessary, the following course of actions will apply:

The initial payment deposit at registration is non-refundable.

Please note - A lack of interest or change of sport will not be considered as grounds for a refund.

If the request for withdrawal is before evaluations have begun - 100% fee refund less initial deposit

Once Evaluations have begun - 50% fee refund less initial deposit

After League Start up - No refunds unless approved by the ORLA Executive.

There may be cases where an injury would prevent a player from continuing to participate in the season. In this case, a medical certificate will be required before the ORLA Executive is able to consider any associated refund.

By registering your player you agree and acknowledge that you, your player and your player's parents or guardians (as applicable) will comply with the health and safety requirements required at the time of a scheduled lacrosse activity. In the event that a parent/guardian or player is unable or unwilling to comply with health and safety requirements for a particular lacrosse activity, the player may not be permitted to participate in that lacrosse activity. In the event a player is unable to participate in a lacrosse activity or activities for all or a portion of a season, which otherwise carries on for other players, there will be no refund given to that player or their family.

In the event that health and safety regulations require that no box lacrosse activities to take place or if there are significant changes in the scope and nature of lacrosse activities in order to operate, the Okotoks Raiders Lacrosse Association will consider the cost of the lacrosse program provided and issue refunds or modify fees as fairly as possible so that those fees reflect the cost of the lacrosse programming provided.
