Refund Policy for 2025-26:
 
Competitive Teams
Competitive players who are selected to a competitive team and withdraw at a later date are not eligible for a refund of registration or team fees.  In exceptional circumstances, the Board of Directors may consider a refund request on the basis of health and safety or financial hardship but is not obligated to provide a refund.   Tryouts fees are non-refundable.
 
House Teams

| September 1 to September 30 | Withdrawals are eligible for a 70% refund of registration fees. | 
| October 1 to 31 | Withdrawals are eligible for a 50% refund of registration fees. | 
| November 1 and later | No Refunds | 
 
Fundamentals and House Goalie registration  - After Sept 1st Goalie and Fundamentals registration is non-refundable as the program costs are already subsidised.  
Learn to Play -  Program Refund Policies will be specified for each individual program.
 
Additional Refund Policy Information
- If a player is suspended for any reason or expelled for behavioral reasons no refund will be issued.
- If the program is temporarily shut down for public health reasons, we are still obligated to fulfill our contractual obligations, and cannot guarantee a refund.
- If sessions are cancelled because of provincial order or by the City of Ottawa, a refund of the original registration fee less costs incurred to date and less a $150 administration fee would apply.
- There will be no refunds issued for missed ice times due to suspension, illness, injury, or leave for personal reasons.
- In the event a player withdraws after the start of the season they may be responsible for all or part of their team fees.  Any refunds and/or releases will not be issued until outstanding amounts are settled with the team.
- Should we be unable to fill a program, EOGH reserves the right to cancel the program and provide participants with a full refund.
