We are closely monitoring Public Health Authorities, Ringette Ontario and the City of Guelph statements regarding COVID-19 and following guidelines from these instances. The well-being of our membership is of paramount importance.
In the event of the City of Guelph, Ringette Ontario or the Guelph Ringette Association (GRA) cancelling a portion of the 2020-2021 season, all players will be reimbursed the equivalent of the ice time lost.
Note: This policy pertains solely to the GRA seasonal player Registration Fees.
If a player decides to withdraw, the withdrawal has to be in written form and submitted by email to the registrar (registration@guelphringette.com):
- If a player withdraws before February 22, 2021, and is a new player for the 2020-21 season, GRA will provide full Registration Fee refund minus a $50.00 administration fee.
- If a player withdraws for any reason after February 22, 2021 no refund will be considered.
Registration Fee refunds for players withdrawing for ringette related injuries while participating in a GRA program, will receive a prorated refund based on the date of the injury. Withdrawal has to be prior to March 28, 2021 for refund/credit to be considered.
Registration Fee refunds for players withdrawing for medical reasons or an injury sustained outside of their participation on an GRA program will need to provide a medical note. GRA will provide a Registration Fee refund/credit on a case-by-case basis.
