MSRA WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY:
In the event that the City of Markham cancels a portion of the 2024-2025 season, all players will be reimbursed a portion of Registration fee as it relates to ice fees refunded.
NOTE: Individual Team Fees are at the sole discretion of the player’s team’s Bench Staff.
If a player decides to withdraw:
The withdrawal has to be submitted in written form by email to the registrar (registrar@markhamringette.com).
For a refund to be considered, Ringette Ontario (RO) and registration fees must be paid in full.
Regional Players
- 100% refund of the MSRA fees, if a player withdrawal is received before September 15th
- If a player withdraws for any reason prior to October 31st, 50% of the seasonal Registration Fee minus a $100 administration fee will be refunded. Ringette Ontario (RO) fees are non-refundable.
- If a player withdraws for any reason after November 1st, no refund will be considered.
- No refunds will be given for any Team Wear ordered.
Provincial Players
- If a player withdraws after evaluations/tryouts and acceptance of team offer, but before September 1st, MSRA will provide a refund of full Registration Fee minus a 10% administration fee.
- If a player withdraws for any reason prior to September 30th, MSRA will provide a 50% refund of full registration fees minus a 10% administration fee. Ringette Ontario (RO) fees are non-refundable.
- If a player withdraws for any reason after October 1st, no refund will be considered.
- No refunds will be given for any Team Wear ordered.
Medical Withdrawals
Registration Fee refunds for players withdrawing due to Ringette related injuries while participating in the MSRA program, will receive a prorated refund based on the date of the injury. Submission of withdrawal has to be prior to March 10th for any refund/credit to be considered.
Registration Fee refunds for players withdrawing for medical reasons or injuries sustained outside of the MSRA program, will need to provide a medical note. MSRA will provide a Registration Fee refund/credit on a case by case basis.
