All requests for a refund must be submitted to registar@ladygens.ca,  In the event that hockey is cancelled by a governing body or facility such as the City of Oshawa at any point of the season, the OGHA may provide a pro-rated refund, with exceptions being short term closure such as weather related.

House League Refund for Registration Withdrawal

-prior to season start, The registration fee minus $50 admin and card processing fee

-Up to December 31, A prorated refund might be issued IF a registrant from the waitlist is available to fulfil the spot.  This prorated fee is relative to charges up to the date of withdrawal and includes administrative charges, OWHA membership and insurance fees, jersey/socks, card processing fees and ice time. 

-January 1 onwards, No refund will be will be provided to members who voluntarily withdraw from the program.

Competitive Member Refund Policy

-Tryout passport fees are non-refundable

-Team commitment registration fees are non-refundable

-Any fees paid to the team or association are non-refundable

-Team membership fees outstanding for the season must be paid in full, regardless of the member withdrawing under any circumstances

Injury/Illness

Any such request must be submitted to the association within 30 days of the date of injury.  A copy of the doctor's note must be provided to the OGHA registrar; registrar@ladygens.ca

Respect Policy: Code of Conduct  

All members of the OGHA are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible manner, and observe all public health, OWHA and facility policies at all times.

The Ontario Womens Hockey Association (OWHA) Code of Conduct, policies of the City of Oshawa Respect the Check and all facility policies and procedure and rules, identifies the standard of behaviour expected of all OGHA members.  This includes athletes, coaches, bench and dressing room staff, parents directors and volunteers.  A breach of such policies may result in disciplinary action by the OGHA/OWHA, up to and including expulsion from all OGHA/OWHA events.  Bullying and harassment, including cyber-bullying and social media posts, will not be tolerated to any extent.

No refunds will be provided for any time missed resulting from such disciplinary action
