Refund Policy


TBWHA Junior Division Refund Policy

June 2, 2025

Where, following registration a player withdraws from a house league team, the player may request a refund of fees paid to TBWHA.  All refund requests must be submitted to the TBWHA Junior Division Treasurer at tbwha.jrtreasurer@gmail.com

It is important to note that a Refund is NOT a notice of withdrawal, and should only happen AFTER a player has properly informed appropriate individuals of their intention to withdraw.  A Junior Division member may withdraw from the House League with written notice to the Junior Division Secretary/Registrar (tbwhajunior@gmail.com) and appropriate Junior Division Convenor.

Upon receiving the Refund Request, the TBWHA Treasurer will determine if a refund is applicable as per the following refund schedule:

U7/U9 HOUSE LEAGUE

Prior to August 31th

Full refund less $50 administration fee*

September 1st to October 15th

Full refund less $150 administration fee*

October 16th to November 15th

Full refund less $300 administration fee*

November 16th onward

No refund

 

U11 HOUSE LEAGUE

Prior to August 31th

Full refund less $50 administration fee*

September 1st to October 15th

Full refund less $200 administration fee*

October 16th to November 15th

Full refund less $400 administration fee*

November 16th to November 30th

Full refund less $500 administration fee*

December 1st onward

No refund

 

U13-U18 HOUSE LEAGUE

Prior to August 31th

Full refund less $50 administration fee*

September 1st to October 15th

Full refund less $200 administration fee*

October 16th to November 15th

Full refund less $400 administration fee*

November 16th to November 30th

Full refund less $500 administration fee*

December 1st onward

No refund

 

FURY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Fury Team Fee

To be determined in conjunction with individual Fury team Head Coach & Manager

*Administration fees include payment processing, TBWHA overhead fees, OWHA registration and Hockey Canada insurance fees incurred. 

Refunds due to Injury and Illness

If a refund is required due to an injury and/or illness to a player, such a request must be completed and submitted within 30 days of the date of the injury/illness. A copy of the doctor’s note confirming the player’s inability to participate may be required, along with the request.
