FOR THE 2023/2024 SPFHA SEASON OUR RETURN POLICY WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
REFUND POLICY:
1. All registration refund requests for new and returning players, both in Houseleague or Travel, must be submitted to the Registrar via email. Once the request is reviewed it will be presented to the Board of Directors for approval or disapproval. If approved the refund will be given by cheque within 2 weeks of board approval.
2. Houseleague Refund Policy will be as follows:
(a) Requests prior to July 31st -subject to a $50 SPFHA administration fee
(b) Requests between August 1st - September 30th -subject to a $150 administration fee (covers hockey Canada/OWHA registration fees, insurance and SPFHA administration fee )
(c) Requests between October 1st - December 31—subject to a $400 administration fee (covers the costs previously listed in (b) above and an added $250 for players share of ice and game costs (ie. refs, timekeepers) and player jersey and socks
(d) Requests after December 31—NO REFUNDS (unless there is a medical reason for this request which the request will then be reviewed by the registrar and the Board of Directors. A decision will be made with a month of receiving the request via email. The decision of the Board is final and cannot be appealed.)
3. Travel Players Refund Policy will be as follows:
(a) Requests prior to July 31st - subject to $150 administration fee (covers hockey Canada/OWHA registration fees, insurance and SPFHA administration fee)
(b) Requests between August 1st - September 30—subject to a $300 administration fee (covers the costs previously listed in (a) above and an added $150 for players share of ice
(c) Requests between October 1st -October 31st -subject to $500 administration fee (covers all costs previously listed in (a) and (b) above plus an extra $200 to cover costs of game ice, refs, timekeepers and any other fees encurred by the association.
(d) Requests after October 31—NO REFUNDS (unless there is a medical reason for this request which the request will then be reviewed by the registrar and the Board of Directors. A decision will be made with a month of receiving the request via email. The decision of the Board will final and cannot be appealed.)
Note**Any travel fees paid directly to the team will be dealt with by the Team Manager and the Board of Directors *** These fees are separate from the above said Registration Fees paid to SPFHA.
