“Organization” refers to: Eastern Ontario AA Ringette Association or EOAARA
-
The Organization shall provide advance notice each year of the tryout registration dates, times and associated costs for the upcoming season. This notice could be in the form of email, website, or other public platform as deemed appropriate by the Organization.
-
Tryout Registration closes 10 days in advance of the first tryout date. Registrations must include the Tryout Fee to be considered accepted.
-
Late registrations may be accepted at the discretion of the Board. A written request for late registration shall be forwarded to the Chair/President.
-
A Tryout registration refund may be requested and must be received 21 days before the first Tryout date (refund date). These requests are subject to an administration fee ($25).
-
All fees are non-refundable after the refund date, unless an exemption is approved by the Chair/President. A written request for any refund shall be forwarded to the Chair/President.
-
Additional refund requests after the refund date will only be considered in the case of Season Ending Medical Circumstances (i.e. injury, subject to review. Supporting documentation from a physician will be required).
-
All players registering to tryout (referred to in the remainder of this specific policy as ‘players’) will have the opportunity to participate in ice times to show their ringette skills, commitment and ability to improve. Schedules depend on ice availability, number of players trying out, and other logistical factors. Details will be communicated prior to Tryouts via the website.
-
For players advancing to final scrimmages, a $500 registration deposit will be due immediately to confirm acceptance of a position, if offered, on one of the teams. This will be required before attending the last tryout dates.
-
After the last tryout date, players who are not offered a position on a team will be refunded their $500.
-
After the last tryout date, players who are selected for a team, but decline that offer, will not be refunded their $500.
-
When final Team Formations are made, the balance of registration fees will be due.
-
For withdrawals between the date of team formation and October 31st, refunds of the balance of the registration fees will be considered on a case by case basis if extenuating circumstances apply. An administration fee of $100 would be deducted and payment processing fees (2.5%) would be applied.
-
After October 31st, no refunds will be issued.
-
Once a refund has been issued, the player will not be allowed to return to play for the refunded season.
NOTE: All credit card transactions are subject to a 2.5% processing fee, including refunds. RO fees/dues are non-refundable after September 2nd.
