Foothills Ringette Association Refund Policy

Policy Reference: Based on Ringette Alberta Registration Policy (Section 2.4.3.4)

1. Deadline for Player Registration Reimbursement

The deadline for player registration reimbursement is December 15th of the current season.

2. Eligibility for Provincial Registration Reimbursement

• A player is eligible for a provincial registration reimbursement if they have not completed the season by December 15th.

• The player must have participated in no more than three (3) on-ice activities (e.g., practices, games, scrimmages) to be considered for a refund.

3. Reimbursement Details

• A $25.00 administration fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.

• Registration reimbursement is accompanied by the deletion of any future insurance coverage or claims.

4. Ineligibility for Reimbursement

• Players who decide to withdraw from the season after December 15th are not entitled to any type of reimbursement of provincial registration fees.

5. Special Events & Camps

• For special events, such as camps, a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to the event start time is required to be eligible for a full refund.

6. Custom Items

• Refunds will not be issued for custom items, such as practice jerseys with a player's name, if the order has already been submitted to the supplier.

Tournament Refund Policy

Withdrawals Prior to October 18, 2025: A full refund, minus a $25.00 administrative fee, will be issued for withdrawals received before October 18, 2025.

Withdrawals After October 21, 2025: No refunds will be granted for withdrawals received after October 21, 2024, unless the vacated spot can be filled by a team of the same competition level. In such cases, refunds will be considered based on the timing of the withdrawal and its potential impact on tournament planning.
