Refunds for players withdrawing from KMHA will be paid upon written application to the President. For players withdrawing voluntarily for personal reasons or injury, the following guidelines apply:

• A $75.00 handling fee will be charged to all refund applications.

• The insurance portion of a player’s registration will not be refunded once the player has participated in one ice time.

• The 3% administrative fee for credit card transactions is non-refundable.

• The remainder of the registration fees will be refunded as follows:

  • Before first ice time - Full refund, less the $75.00 handling fee and 3% administrative fee (when applicable).

  • Before November 10 - 2/3 of registration fee, less the $75.00 handling fee, 3% administrative fee (when applicable), and insurance portion.

  • Before December 10 - 1/2 of registration fee, less the $75.00 handling fee, 3% administrative fee (when applicable), and insurance portion.

  • Before January 10 - 1/3 of registration fee, less the $75.00 handling fee, 3% administrative fee (when applicable), and insurance portion.

  • After January 10 - No refund.

• If a player registers and participates in the evaluation period but then decides not to play, the $75.00 handling fee will be withheld from any refund.

• A full refund will be honored to any player who registers with KMHA and then chooses to participate in the Hockey Alberta Elite Stream program.

• No refunds will be issued to players suspended or expelled for disciplinary reasons.
