If you would like to withdraw from a sport and request a refund up to 30 days prior to the start date of the sport we ask you send a request in writing to our board of directors at: oilfieldssportsassociation@gmail.com and a full refund will be issued. If you would like to withdraw and a request a refund within 30 days after the start date of the sport you are still asked to submit your request in writing to: oilfieldssportsassociation@gmail.com however you will only receive a partial refund of 50%. Once a sport has started and after the 30 days, no refunds will be given unless hte OSA board votes in favor of it due to an extenuating circumstance (injury, illness, etc.) Please allow up to 4 weeks for refunds to be processed.
The following may apply due to such cancellations:
- If you choose to withdraw your child from any OSA sport, then the regular cancellation policy applies, as we need to consider the impact tat just a few cancellations can have to the remaining players on a team who are wishing to play any sport within OSA.
- If the season is impacted in excess of a 20% reduction, due to governing organizations cancelling all sports activities, then a pro-rated refund will be calculated less any upfront expenses incurred by the association (e.g., uniforms, Governing body related membership fees, Insurance etc.).
- All refunds will be assigned as a credit on the family account at 100% of the refund amount, unless a monetary refund is requested via email to the OSA Spot Coordinator.
- Funds requested to be reimbursed will be done so by cheque less a 6% processing fee. Any applicable cheque refunds will be processed at the end of the season or when seasons are officially cancelled by the OSA Sports Coordinators and Board of Directors.
- Consideration will be made to allow for the make-up of any portion of a cancelled season. For example, if games are not permitted for a time period, then OSA may offer to have multiple games on a weekend, offer scrimmages, etc.
