Late Payment and Refund Policy

 

Late Payment:

• The late fee of $5 per month after the deadline will be assessed.

   e.g. If the deadline is September 1, $5 will be assessed for the payment made between Sept 2 - 30, another $5 will be assessed for the payment made between Oct 2-31, and so on. 

• Exception can be made as long as a member discusses with a BCWBS staff before the deadline and a mutual agreement is arranged, such as a payment plan.

           

Refund:

If you have paid for a program/event and are unable to attend, you must email designated staff at BCWBS to request a refund in timely manner.

The following policy will be applied to all refund requests. BCWBS is not responsible for any loss of funds if notification is not provided, and a refund is processed to an invalid or expired credit card.

 

Memberships

• No refund - Memberships are NON-REFUNDABLE.

 

BCWBS programs (e.g. weekly programs, etc.)  

• Full Refund - up to 5 business days prior to the start of the program
• Refund less an administration fee -between 4 business days prior to the start of the program
• No refund - At and after the start of the program

* Exception may be made with injury/sickness proven with a doctor’s note or other emergency matters. An administration fee may still be charged.

 

BCWBS events (e.g. Jr. Challenge, Skills camps, clinics, etc.) 

• Full Refund - up to 5 business days prior to the start of the program
• Refund less an administration fee - between 4 business days prior to the start of the program
• No refund - At and after the start of the event

* Exception may be made with injury/sickness proven with a doctor’s note or other emergency matters. An administration fee may still be charged

 

Out of Province Travels (Nationals, CWBL tournaments, etc.)

• Full Refund - up to 5 business days prior to the start of the tournament
• Refund less an administration fee -between 4 business days prior to the travelling day
• No refund - On and after the travelling day*

* Exception may be made with injury/sickness proven with a doctor’s note or other emergency matters 

 

 BC-CWBL

• Refund less an administration fee - up to 3 weeks prior to the start of the first tournament of the season
• No refund - within 1 week of start of the first tournament of the season

 

Administration Fee:

• $10 for all the BCWBS programs and events including BC-CWBL

*If a registration fee is less than $10, no more than the amount of registration fee will be charged.

• 20% of the athlete fee for the out of province travel

 

Full Refund:

• If there is a change in date by BCWBS and registrant is not able to attend due to the change

 

Note:

Please note that any refund for fees paid with a credit card will be e-transferred back to the payer instead of being refunded back to the credit card used to avoid high administration fee.
