BMFA Refund Policy
The Beaumont Minor Football Association (BMFA) divides fees into administration fees and membership fees.
NO REFUNDS ON WINTER CAMPS
1. Non-Refundable Fees (REGULAR SEASONS)
Upon registration, the following fees are non-refundable:
- CDMFA Fee: $120.00
- Football Alberta Insurance Fee: $80.00
- BMFA Administration Fee: $50.00
2. Refund Requests (Post-Registration Withdrawal) (REGULAR SEASONS)
If you need to withdraw from the program after registering, BMFA will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Refunds, if approved, will be prorated based on how much of the season has been played, after deducting the non-refundable fees listed above.

Your email must include:
- Player’s full name
- Reason for withdrawal
- Date of last participation (practice or game)
3. Injury-Related Withdrawals (REGULAR SEASONS)
If the reason for withdrawal is injury and the athlete cannot play, a doctor’s note is required to support the request. Injury-related refunds remain subject to proration and the non-refundable fees above.
4. Proration Method
Proration is calculated based on the proportion of the season completed at the time of the withdrawal request. BMFA may consider practices and/or scheduled games to determine the percentage of the season completed.
Example (illustrative only):
If 30% of the season has been completed at the time of withdrawal, BMFA may refund approximately 70% of the refundable portion of fees.
5. Processing Timeline
Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days from receipt of a complete request (including any required documentation such as a doctor’s note).
6. Equipment
If applicable, all equipment must be returned in good condition upon withdrawal. Failure to return equipment may delay or reduce any refund.
7. Discretion
BMFA reserves the right to interpret and apply this policy to ensure fairness and consistency across all programs. Decisions are final once communicated in writing.
