St. James Assiniboia Minor Baseball Association (SJAMBA) understands that there are situations where a refund of registration fees is appropriate. However, we do need to ensure that SJAMBA does not incur a financial loss as a result of any fees that have already been paid on behalf of a registered player. We also need to respect the time invested in our volunteers in managing our registrations and creating teams that included that player.
In order to provide a fair balance between individual choice and the interests of SJAMBA, the Board of Directors has established the following refund policy:
1). If a refund is requested before April 15, 2021, a refund will be processed in full less a $25 processing charge.
2). If a refund is requested after April 15, 2021 but before April 30, 2020, a refund of 50% of the registration fees will be processed.
3). Tryout fees (if applicable) will not be refunded after tryouts have begun.
4). After May 1, 2021, partial refunds will be considered for exceptional circumstances like a season-ending injury. Medical support documentation may be required.
5). If a player is dismissed from a team for violation of the Player's Code of Conduct, no refund will be given.
