The 18U HP Program is a Training to Compete program for athletes aged 18 years  and under (born 2008 and younger). The team will compete in the National Championship League (NCL) developed as a collaborative initiative between Clubs, Provincial Sporting Organizations and WPC. It is also meant to build on the competition structure for the clubs, athletes, coaches and officials.

The 18U program is designed to have players competing on a regular basis for a longer period of time in intense meaningful games. The majority of games will be played locally against neighboring clubs and clubs located in the West.  There is also a Provincial league to supplement and provide more games locally in BC for developing players. The 18U program will also arrange training and competitions in the USA to expose players to International play.

The 18Us will also have the opportunity to participate in the Major League Water Polo NCL Tournaments.

This is a Train to Compete program where greater emphasis is placed on developing and perfecting the advanced skills. The advanced skills are aimed at players being trained to compete internationally. In parallel, the basic skills are maintained and refined, development of specific and positional skills is emphasized. Players enrolled in this program are expected to attend all practices and participate in league games, which are on the weekend to encourage maximum participation and minimize missed school.
